Beloved, no matter what comes your way, have a trustful reliance on God, for in doing so, you are safe and secured, you possess blessings of grace, have peace within you and ultimately enjoy eternal joy with Him. Faith obtains promises. A simple, single-eyed confidence in God is the sure mark of blessedness. Someone may be poor as Lazarus, as hated as Mordecai, as sick as Hezekiah, as lonely as Elijah, but if his hand of faith can keep its hold on God, none of his outward afflictions can prevent his being numbered among the blessed. Do not give regard to those are confident in themselves, never depend on such for help or deliverance. Never put your trust in man, because man is liable to fall into error, easily led astray, deceitful, disappointing and therefore, cannot be relied on. God is mighty, but not haughty, He is never drawn aside from the truth, never deceives nor disappoints.
